90% of our clients are business owners who want to grow and lead successful businesses.

ALL of them have struggled with this question:

"How do I actually make it happen?"

They're not alone in the struggle.

Business growth and success are super common goals, but the path to get there often feels murky or blocked by obstacles.

In today's issue, we're shining a light on this path - sharing 4 essential steps that will bring your growth goals within reach.

4 SIMPLE, POWERFUL STRATEGIES TO GROW YOUR BUSINESS

1. Clear, Balanced Goals are a Must

Many businesses don't have clearly defined goals that everyone understands, making it very hard to create focused plans or take meaningful action.

It's also common to lack well-rounded goals; focusing solely on say a revenue target or the number of new clients.

The most successful businesses we've seen have a CLEAR and BALANCED approach to goals.

We recommend having specific goals that span across our 6 business health pillars: Strategy, Finance, Leadership, Customer, Operations, and Personal Health.

Might not sound sexy, but having these goals are the foundation of making it all happen.

And when it all happens, now that's sexy! 😉

2. Create a Plan

Even if it's on the back of a napkin, you need a plan.

We suggest creating a detailed plan that lays out clear goals, actions, deadlines, and who's in charge of each task.

Having a clear plan reduces confusion when putting it into action.

It gives everyone a roadmap to follow, helps them manage their time effectively, and allows them to track progress.

3. Make Daily, Consistent Progress

Building momentum and making progress every day is crucial.

It's easy to give up when things go wrong or off track - you lose a big client, interest rates go up, you need to hire new staff, etc.

You will have bad days.

And bad weeks.

What will set you apart is focusing on taking little steps forward as often as possible.

Before long, you'll start to see progress and improvements.

4. Keep Your Goals and Plans out of the Drawer

You've come up with great goals, robust plans, made some progress....

And then a month goes by.

Things get busy.

And suddenly all that great work gets shoved in a drawer and not looked at for 6 months.

Don't get caught in this trap.

Your goals and plans need to be on the wall, not in a drawer, to keep momentum.

Keep moving forward by reviewing and updating your plans and progress at least monthly, if not more often.

For the action takers:

  1. Do a quick goal audit. How clear and balanced are your goals across the 6 pillars of business health? (Strategy, Finance, Leadership, Customer, Operations, and Personal Health)
  2. If you're not sure or want to go deeper, request a free business health assessment here . We'll review your business based on our 6 pillars of health and help you develop an action plan to start growing your business.
